Why we developed Staff TrackerBack in 2001 our receptionist found it very frustrating trying to find where particular employees were. The worst offenders were sales and technical staff - who would often disappear without notice.We looked at a number of existing in-out boards and found that they were either messy and difficult to understand, or were difficult to install and/or required too much ongoing support. Surprisingly, most looked very amateurish (and still do!) and even the better looking products were not well thought out. The best option for us was to develop an easy-to-use product from the ground up. Hence Staff Tracker was born. The Staff Tracker 'look' and all feature ideas and the way they were implemented came from users, not software engineers. That's why you will find Staff Tracker so easy to use. Staff Tracker.WEB is an exciting new product that is being
extensively tested at many sites around the world. It will
provide users with an opportunity to view and change their status
via any web browser, whether that be at home, in the office,
offsite, or even via a web terminal in an airport.
Staff Tracker.WEB is not a cheap asp code hack. It was
developed from the ground up and has all of the key Staff
Tracker for Windows features, plus extensive reporting options
and more.
Staff Tracker.WEB is also compatible with mobile phones that are
WAP enabled, so you can now change your status whilst you are
mobile, or in any other location where you do not have access to
the internet.
